Great spot to sit, sip on an Aperol Spritz and enjoy the square and people walking by. The cicchetti options were plentiful and tasty.

With a heaping amount of cicchetti on display to satiate a bustling midday crowd, step in for a light lunch or snack, and enjoy with an aperol spritz on one of many street side seats. Largely land-based options include prosciutto and pumpkin, radicchio and gorgonzola, mushroom and roast pork, soft cheese and purple cabbage or a simple slice of cotechino sausage topped with pickled leaks. Seafood options include a very rich baccala mantecato (almost too thick) and canned tuna served with zucchini and the all-too ubiquitous pumpkin purée. An assortment of re-heated fried specialties and skewered meatballs. Overall, solid. The best in town? No. But a good option when in the neighborhood.

This has been one of my favorite places to go in Venice. The initial appeal was that it was a 30 second walk from my hotel, but I found out very quickly it was frequented by both locals and tourists for clear reasons. I’m a competition trained barista and I can say without a doubt this is one of the best cappuccinos in the area, the spritz is consistent, and I didn’t try any of them but all of the varieties of bruschetta looked INCREDIBLE. I’ve returned every day I’ve been in the city and that won’t change until I leave 💛

We were leaving Venice the morning we decided to stroll around the neighborhood of our apartments for a quick breakfast. We stumbled upon Bar Spritz. Many locals were grabbing breakfast here and we thought let's try it as in most places when we travel. People were taking their coffees at the bar and grabbing take away sandwiches. We were smiling "it must be good", my Husband said. We tried their tuna and egg sandwich, some cappuccinos and cornetto. They were delicious. We called my Sister and her Husband over to join us and they enjoyed their meal as well. The Staff were great. They answered our questions regarding the savory and sweet options on display. Sandwiches were being made as many patrons had already been in before us. We are happy we came and dined here. Such a great find.

An amazing find. The small cicchetti were delicious and the wine hit the spot. We wanted something small before our meal and this hit the spot. Place was packed with locals stopping in for a coffee or Aperol and a cichetti or two. Couldn’t recommend here more highly.
